WPA would like to say congratulations to our friends at New Earth Farm in Virginia Beach on their feature story ‘A Sustainable Life’ in Distinction magazine. We are excited to be working with them again on their latest hyperlocal venture: Commune Crepes.
We are very excited for our friend Kevin Jamison and his new restaurant in development, Commune Crepes. We know from our experience working with him on the Teaching Pavilion at New Earth Farm that the restaurant will be a powerful example of sustainability on multiple levels: food, design, and community.
The NSU Greenhouse is now complete and ready for professors and students to begin installing the plants. Species will range from blue-green algae to oak tree seedlings.

The College of Science, Engineering and Technology at Norfolk State University will be building a 1500 square foot greenhouse on campus. WPA is teaming up with Rough Brothers to design and build this sustainable structure. The greenhouse will be in a courtyard with directed paths for students to engage and explore the local plant life. We’ve found some great precedent images and are really excited to work alongside of Rough Bros!
