Fisherman’s Village is a collection of 54 vacation rental cottages nestled into the sand dunes and live oak trees of Ocean View Beach on the Chesapeake Bay. The cottages flank either side of the Ocean View Fishing Pier and are staggered east to west as well as tiered from three stories to one elevated story to provide each cottage with a full water view.
The East side of the development houses the new, upscale Thirsty Camel restaurant and bar, perched behind the dunes and overlooking the Chesapeake Bay, a swimming pool and pool house, a shaded play area and the hotel’s reception area and office. The West side of the development has a fire pit for daytime oyster roasts and nighttime bonfires and a picnic area tucked under the shade of the century-old live oak trees.
This new development will begin construction in the summer of 2020 and will be ready for families and friends to staycation on the Bay later that year.
