Renovations to Scope Arena

New pods for concessions and restrooms open to both the interior and exterior concourse and plaza.

Section through Scope Arena with proposed changes

While we were not awarded the contract for the project, being shortlisted for the forthcoming renovation to Scope Arena and its surrounding Plaza was one of the best experiences our young company has had! In doing our research to prepare for the interview, we found Pier Luigi Nervi’s original renderings for the building in the Sargent Memorial Collection.

Our proposal aims to bring visual order through innovative LED lights with a kaleidoscope theme. The interior will be lit from within, and the roof will have fluctuating light art.

Our goals for the complex are to enhance the visitor experience, build excitement upon arrival at the plaza, strengthen connections to the surrounding city, and make improvements that harmonize with the best parts of the existing architecture.
