As Downtown Norfolk continues to attract new residents, clients are seeking unique spaces that make a personal statement. In this loft conversion, a chopped-up office space was transformed into an efficient, open-plan studio. A kitchen counter doubles as an entertainment center, while barn doors separate the bedroom and walk-in closet. A pocket door conceals the bathroom, and custom cabinetry hides the washer and dryer.
The challenge of bringing more natural light into the space was solved by cutting a window into a north-facing wall, creating a new opening with a view of Granby Street.
