The DNA Sculpture at Cape Henry Collegiate School’s Sparks Science and Technology Center recalls the work of pioneering scientists. The sculpture is based on the Watson Crick model of DNA structure. Peter Johnston of Work Program Architects designed, fabricated, and installed a 12 ft x 3 ft 6 in work that is comprised of more than 5,000 parts as well as the Periodic Table of Giving Donations Board. Both sculptural elements were laser cut, and the periodic table was laser engraved.
