We’ve enjoyed this collaboration for the completion of Grand Central Eatery with MK Catering, CJW Contractors, and staff at The Community College of Baltimore County’s Owings Mills campus, and now looking forward to grabbing a cup of coffee and delicious treat.
WPA has worked with NSU stakeholders and our partners at SWAY and Acorn Sign Graphics to design a new sign family to kick off the Norfolk State University Wayfinding Program. The goals of the Wayfinding Program are to make the University more welcoming, accessible and navigable, to provide information clearly and consistently, to clean up existing sign clutter, and to enhance the appearance of the campus. It will reinforce the NSU Master Plan’s goals of promoting a healthy residential college campus with a focus on the pedestrian experience.
Work is progressing on the construction of WPA’s new entry and administrative office suite addition to St. Gregory the Great Catholic School in Virginia Beach. The new entrance gives the Administration better visual control over the school entrance for increased safety, and provides a large covered canopy to shade and protect the students as they wait for pick-up. This Design-Build effort is led by R.D. Lambert & Son.
